Liverpool’s Developments Reach £6 Billion
The total invested in the city in major development schemes since 2000 is now estimated to be over £6billion.
2011 is still on course to have more completed developments on site than any other year, excluding 2008.
Liverpool City Council’s Development Officer Mark Anthony Craig said:
“2011 is still set to be a very good year in terms of the amount of development activity currently taking place, with £800 million worth of major schemes currently on site across the whole of the city”.
The total value of developments to be completed between January 2011 and December 2011 is £738 million.
£367 million worth of schemes across the ci are currently on site and are due to be completed in 2012/2013.
