Shoppers invited to get crafty this summer
Discover a vibrant mix of art and craft creations this weekend at the Liverpool ONE Arts & Craft Fair.
Following the success of the first fair in May this year, Liverpool ONE announce 3 more crafty weekends on Thomas Steers Way, opposite The Hilton. Stalls will open 10.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st of July.
The fair presents over 25 stalls for shoppers to pick up a variety of unique homewares, paintings, textiles jewellery and much more. Free arty workshops for all the family take place throughout the weekend, with ‘Monster Mask’ making on Saturday and 1950’s inspired ‘Make do and Mend’ sessions on the Sunday.
Featured exhibitors:
Illustrator Lianne Mellor will be selling a range of ceramics inspired by her wild and wonderful childlike imagination. Mellor Ware is a designer range of ceramics featuring whimsical illustrations of British wildlife enjoying a tea party.
Arts in Regeneration showcase their unique ‘L8’ range of up-cycled vintage and shabby chic furniture, giving shoppers a chance to snap up one-of-kind creations, made by the hands of local designers and residents.
Kate Stewart presents her contemporary ‘Factory Floor Jewels’ range, bold handmade jewellery using re-purposed materials.
The event has been organised by Liverpool ONE in partnership with Open Culture, a community interest company that aims to increase engagement with arts and culture on Merseyside and the 2020 Decade of Health and Wellbeing.
Donna Howitt, Marketing Director at Liverpool ONE said: “Liverpool ONE is proud to provide a platform for the North West’s artistic talent. We are very much committed to supporting local arts and cultural initiatives and hope that visitors to Liverpool ONE enjoy these special events.”
The events continue through the summer taking place on on 13-14 August and 10-11 September
